UUM - 1st Semester

The 1st semester teaching in UUM.

My 1st experience teaching degree students.

My 1st experience teaching writing course.

My 1st experience teaching weak and passive students.

Set up 3 rules in all the 6 classes.

- Relax

- Respect

- RESPOND!!!!

I DON'T WANT to TALK to the WALL.

-  Did the thing that some of my friends hate the most; asked the same questions again and again.

- It worked. They responded. With words. *smile

1st Consultation day.

Found out these;

- a student who doesn't know what is "a sentence".

- a student who doesn't even know what are main ideas.

- a students who doesn't even know what is an introduction paragraph, what is a body paragraph.

I thought those are the basics in writing essays.

SHOCKED!!!

What should I do?

It's a challenge!!

Yes, I need to do something.

Improve my teaching style?

Maybe I'm too rigid.

Improve my teaching methods?

Yes, there will be more activities in class.

More tiring days?

What to do. I need to help them

Thank god I deferred my master's degree.
